The transition
-
Prenatal
Helping those who are birthing prepare for the transition to parenthood. We might explore anxiety and fear, changes in the relationship to self or partner(s), or challenges within pregnancy. We are here to help you navigate this transition, offer you resources and skills.
-
Processing the Birth
Processing your birth story is not something our culture makes time for. Take the time you deserve to integrate your pre- and post- birth selves. Your birth experience may have been exactly as you envisioned, traumatic, not as your planned, or anywhere in between. Either way, you are forever changed.
-
Postpartum
The transition to parenthood is utterly transformative. And for mothers, there are many biological changes that speak to the significance of this transition. You may need a space to speak on issues of identity, navigate stressors, and changes to relationships. This may be a time of unpacking your own mothering, wounds from your childhood, or triggers.
For some, post-partum includes new or increased depression, anxiety, birth-related PTSD, and a desire for more self-regulation skills.

Helping partners
If you are transitioning into parenthood with a partner, this can be a new version of your relationship. You may feel increased stress, resentment, lack of intimacy, difficulty communicating, or just need support navigating your new roles.
